Today's Tarot is the Chariot. The Chariot means movement in classic interpretations but as usual there is a bit more to it esoterically than you see at first glace.
The two sphinx are not yoked and drawing the chariot. They are sitting in front of it. Nor are they duplicates of each other, one white and one black. Looking closely you will see the black sphinx is male and the white one is female. This is the reverse of what you would expect as black is always associated with the Yin or female principal. The male looks quite unhappy and is holding leaves. The female seems to be smirking and holds a cross. The symbol on the Chariot is a top and a top spins round and round and goes nowhere.
This is why readers are so often wrong when the Chariot appears in a spread. It doesn't indicate movement. It indicates you are spinning your wheels and blocked by the very things you think are helping you. You have rejected the ways and means that would have helped you. The ruler is impotent. He has turned his back on the people (the city behind him) and you, too, are impotent in this situation.

Today's Tarot is the Four of Wands. Although this card indicates partying and friends, it also shows some intimate conversations apart from the crowd at a social event. Don't turn down any invitations as they may be opportunities in disguise.

The Lover's Reversed indicates love is not going as planned but it was covered by the Magician. The Magician invokes the law (signified by the Torah in his hand - no that is not a wand) of the four elements signified by the tools on the table to bring his will to fruition.
This reading indicates that if love is not going the way you want it to, do something.

The Nine of Wands. A very worried looking gentleman stands guard with a wand over his eight remaining wands. The meaning is simple. Play your cards close to your chest. This isn't the best day to open your heart and mouth at the time.

Today's card is the High Priestess, reversed.

The High Priestess symbolizes all metaphysical knowledge. Her dress slowly dissolves into water holding a moon at her feet symbolizing intuition and emotion. On her lap is the Torah (law) and on her chest the equilateral cross indicating she is fair and unbiased. She sits between the pillars of light and dark knowledge. She is the essence of rigid, fixed metaphysical knowledge, pomp and ceremony and ritual. She brings order belief and rational explanation to intuition.

Reversed, she loses the metaphysical and becomes totally rational and logical. She will remain unbiased but becomes a rigid disciplinarian. Rules must be upheld over emotion.

When this card appears reversed in a spread or for the day, it means it is time to look at things rationally and logically. The time for dreaming is over and the time for planning is now. Budget, work out a business plan and update your planners. Everything needs to run on schedule today! However, since the water of emotion is now on your head, you can be pretty sure someone is going to try to derail you by dumping on you. Beware the Drama Queens under this influence. They will waste your time and energy. RUN!
